CROSS COUNTRY TRIP TO CHEYENNE

Denny flew to Florida during a tropical storm and landed first Charleston, SC and then went on to Florida the next day.  He got to see Macy, Nick and Zack.

After helping Andy and Stefany pack we took off for Wyoming. We stopped at some Temples along the way

Finally, 3 sleepless days and nights later we arrived in Cheyenne, Wyoming.  We made it!!!  The kids seemed no worse for the wear.  A good time was had by all in attendance.

OUR TRIP TO TEXAS

In March we headed to San Antonio to see Becca, Ashton, Ella and Piper.  First thing we did was take a boat cruise of the Riverwalk.  It was so beautiful and being on the water felt so nice.  When we left Spokane it was 27 degrees so the sun felt wonderful and seeing them was fabulous.  Here we are on the Riverwalk.

Denny and Ella and I found some old pictures to look at...so fun to be with family.
Ashton is overseeing our meat being cooked.  It was delicious
Here we are in Lockhart Texas at a famous bar b cue.  The food was amazing  and we enjoyed being in this building from the early 1900's.
Ella and I made some pretty amazing cupcakes.  We made bears, pigs, monkeys and just plain ones.
                                                               It was lots of fun.
Piper enjoyed being with GeGe and Papa.
Ella and her papa are always together having fun.   We also went to see a Rodeo and just enjoyed the Texas lifestyle.  We had so much fun and I cried when we had to leave.  When we flew into Spokane it was 15 degrees...we were not prepared for that.  We will return.

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA...JANUARY 2012

Andy and Stefany moved to Jacksonville a few months ago.  They took Macy with them (RATS) but had twin boys in November.  Zackary Denis and Nickolas Steven were being blessed on January 8th.  We met up with Stefany's family in Denver and flew together to Florida.  These are adorable babies and I am not just saying this because I am their "GeGe"...which means grandma in Hendrickson.  Macy was such a cute big sister and we fell in love with all three.  We all went to church, took lots of pictures, went out to eat a lot, held those babies a lot, we even found time to shop and last but not least we played with Macy.  She loved going on walks and Den and I just walked all over the beautiful apartment complex area.  There is a swmming pool, tennis courts, ponds filled exotic birds. We just had a fabulous time and I cried all the way to the airport.  We loved being in the sun.  When we landed back in Spokane it was 16 degrees.  Oh to be in Florida again!!!
